A little more than 40 years ago, I took my first herbalism class and I knew something powerful had begun.

Since that class, I have continued my education, learning the most authentic methods to help a body heal and maintain optimal health.

I have had the opportunity to study under some of the most respected herbalists and energy workers of our time, including Rosemary Gladstar, Matthew Wood, Theresa Boardwine, and many others. I use my extensive training in Dr. Edward Bach’s flower remedy system to craft flower essences from local plants that have been identified to affect emotions positively.

In addition to studying Medicinal Herbalism at the Green Comfort School of Herbal Medicine, I am a Reiki Master and certified in Aroma Acupoint Therapy and the healing benefits of essential oils.

I find deep joy in educating others and look forward to working with you to achieve your health and wellness goals!

Usui Reiki: Following the path of Tradition

With Reiki's growing popularity, many people are exploring the differences between the traditional, authentic core teachings of Mikao Usu and the newer, Westernized Reiki systems such as Holy Fire and Karuna. In early 20th-century Japan, Mikao Usui developed a complete, time-tested Reiki system rooted in simplicity, discipline, and a deep connection to Universal Life Force Energy. This system emphasizes personal development through meditation, visualization, and hands-on healing. In contrast, the newer, Westernized Reiki systems use Usui's Reiki as a starting point, with many modifications and additional modern spiritual branding. My approach as a practitioner and instructor remains grounded in the original Usui tradition, as I have found its enduring power lies in its purity.

I have practiced both Usui's system and the newer Westernized systems, and I have found Usui's Reiki resonates deeply with me.

I feel we offer an authentic, stable, and spiritually grounded path for both practitioners and recipients.
